Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou 1981

Best wine I have had in a long time. Opened and decanted and served with tenderloin shortly thereafter. Beautiful ruby with just a little bricking – doesn’t look like 43 year old! Still a nice fruit to it with some cedar and some spice. Nice vibrancy, and brightness. Medium long finish. Wish I had more – this is a beautiful wine.
